Broome

Friday 31st - Did the tourist bit today had a look around the town and went to the "Pearl Luggers" in the afternoon. What a fascinating place, all the old diving gear and the chap who gave the tour knew his history, Broome would have been an interesting place in its heyday. Chris went for a swim on Cable Beach and when we went for a walk not far from where she was swimming we saw a small shark swimming in no more than 250mm of water about 4meters off the shore. Chris also got to hold a $100,000 pearl.
