Manning Gorge

Sunday - After a dusty trip out from Mornington where we had to follow 4 other cars who where going terribly slow we hit the Gibb again and travelled north to Mt Barnett Roadhouse where we refuelled, @ $2.40 a litre it hurt a bit when I put in 120 litres but that's the price you pay for having a great time. Then it was a short 7 km drive to Manning Gorge campground which is on Mt Barnett Station, the campground has a great swimming hole where we cooled off and watched the kids playing in the boat that you have to use if you wish to cross the swimming hole to do the 2 km walk to the gorge.
