Ellenbrae to Home Valley Station

Saturday 22nd - today we moved onto Home Valley Station, just a  one and a half hour drive from Ellenbrae Station, the countryside changed as we moved into the East Kimberley's, for many people this is the start of their Gibb River road experience, for us it is near the end. It was good to see the Cockburn Ranges and Pentacost River you read so much about them in all the Kimberley literature. We have got a campsite at the Homestead campground this gives us use of all the facilities including the bar, restaurant and pool, really slumming it. We have already tried the bar and pool, Chris said it feels like Christmas time on the coast as there are so many people here, it's Northern Territory school holidays so there are heaps of kids around.
