Ellenbrae Station

Friday - What a blast from the past this camp site is, the "Amenities" are a stone built structure with a "Donkey" woodchip boiler for hot water which you have to keep the wood upto and the shower/toilet area also has a bath, check out the photo's. We decided  to stay another day here as it rained overnight so we wanted to dry everything out and tidy up from our trip to the falls. We also picked up an unwanted addition to one tyre, a tek screw so a wheel change and puncture repair was necessary, we will get it repaired properly in Darwin. Another feature of Ellenbrae is their scones and cream, they are huge so we had to try them, they where yummy.
