Mitchell Falls Track

Thursday - Last night we had light rain all night so we decided to pack up early and head back to the trailer at King Edward River, the trip back down passes through different types of vegetation, from scrubby eculipts  to palm ferns, the road was wet and slippery in places. On the way back we stopped and looked at some bush Aboriginal art, also in a small alcove were some Aboriginal skeletons. As it was overcast we decided to just hitch it up and head south when we got to the King Edward river camp. We stopped at Drysdale River Station for a KBB (Kimberley Beef Burger) and chips for lunch.We bumped into Garry and Kath again, they had changed plans and where heading up to Mitchell Falls. Our plan was to stop at the Russ River free camp but we couldn't find it as we continued onto Ellenbrae Station for the night.
