Kununurra to the Bungles

Monday -1st July. Today we headed down to the Bungles after a delayed start when the fridge in the car decided not to work on 12volts, I purchased a new lead and that fixed the problem. The countryside was different to what we have experienced over the last 3 weeks. We finally turned off the tar and then another 53km of winding dirt road to the National Park visitors centre to register and the another 12km to the Walardi campsite. We collected wood along the way so we could have a campfire at our site, only to find out that there are no individual fire pits only a communal one, it worked out ok and we had a fantastic roast lamb baked dinner, we do it tough on the road.
